What can you interact with and what is the benefit?

You can interact with many things, and you can use them for your survival and to produce resources.

This tree gives you 6 pieces of wood, and quite rare.

This tree gives you 3 pieces of wood, and are quite common.

This tree gives you 5 pieces of wood, and there's a forest full of them.

This tree gives you 4 pieces of wood, and are also quite common.

This tree gives you 3 or 4 pieces of wood, and the most common.

Chickens drop meat, which can be cooked, and feathers.

Rabbits are very hard to kill.

Wolves are everywhere, and not as strong as bears.

The brown bear is more common, and a lot bigger.

The black bear is less common, and looks smaller than the brown bear.

This gives you one fiber.

You can collect the medicinal plants, and collect blueberries off of the berry plant.

There are 4 different types of loot crates: Ammo, First Aid, Building, and Military (which you need a lock pick for)

Ores can be found on rocks, which you can mine.

What are a person's basic needs for life?
A person's basic needs for life are food,water,shelter, and oxygen.

What is the definition of the game?
sub·sist·ence 
 The act or fact of maintaining or supporting oneself at a minimum level.

Brief description: 
Subsistence is a sandbox, first person, open world survival game which is only currently in single player.

Controls:

You can find loot crates scattered around the world, with two different types (as I've found so far). There's a crate that contains building supplies, and one that contains ammunition and things to make ammunition.

And apparently you can't outrun a wolf, and should stay away at them at all costs, even if there is a crate.
